David has been a very devoted member of our BMM family since 1991 & will be greatly
missed by us all.
He passed on 7 January 2020.
It is with very great sadness that we announce the sad passing of one of “our family”
- our good friend David Brown.
David has been one of our dancers for 28 years; a time cut far too short aged just
A gentle & humble soul, David influenced many during his life through his active
involvement in the Church, Scouts, Gang Shows and of course, Morris, quietly making
good friends wherever he went.
He started dancing with his local side Eyhorne Morris, but when they disbanded in

all 3 of David’s great loves.
We feel that David’s memory will be commemorated by the impact he had on others,
including ourselves, and this can be appreciated by the messages we have received
from our friends & local sides.
At BMM, we will forever remember the fortitude David showed & courage, always coming
along to practise; even after his cancer diagnosis he came whenever he possibly
could, - not to dance but to be with us, even when he was feeling very unwell. We
appreciated that and we are very proud to have David as our friend & central to our
